COVID-19 UPDATE
Dear Friends of TAC
At TAC, our jobs and focus have always been about animal health and welfare. In today’s situation, we now find ourselves in a position where it is also our duty to do everything we can to protect human health, particularly those in our community who are most at risk in this unprecedented situation. This will help us remain open for as long as possible so we can continue to provide essential care for your pets.
Your health is of utmost importance to us and we hope that you can cooperate with us in these trying times. Your cooperation is crucial for our clinic to remain in operation and provide the best help available for your beloved pet, and we thank you sincerely for that.
If you are not sure if your pet’s condition should be seen urgently, please ring us to discuss it with us over the phone, or do not hesitate to contact us via Facebook messenger. Your pet’s welfare is very important to us, as is the health of everyone in our community.
We understand that the safety measures we have implemented may cause you some inconvenience and we seek your kind understanding as we continue to execute stricter protocols for the safety of all our staff and you, our clients.
• We will be operating by APPOINTMENT ONLY and providing contactless consultations where your pet is dropped off and we contact you over the phone for a phone consult.
• Please ring the clinic to book an appointment prior to coming in.
• We will not be taking non-urgent walk-ins. Please contact us first so we can dedicate an appointment time for you. If you are unsure if your pet’s condition is urgent, please discuss this with us over the phone. Rest assured that we will perform a phone triage to discuss whether your pet should be seen immediately, or whether an appointment can be scheduled
• If your pet is presenting with an emergency, please ring us while you are on the way. We will bring your pet in immediately to be triaged and assessed. We ask that you wait outside the clinic while your pet is being attended to.
• If you require top-up medications or food, please call us before coming in so that everything can be prepared and ready for collection before you arrive.
• Please be patient with us during this time as we are doing our best to keep all safe - pet parents, pets, as well as our TAC family.
• Please inform us if your pet has been in contact with anyone known to have tested positive for COVID-19, or anyone who is awaiting COVID-19 tests results. Our staff will need to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment to handle your pet safely.
• Please try ringing us at a later time if you are unable to get through, as we are trying our best to attend to each and everyone of you.
• We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding, and we hope that everyone stays safe and positive as we get through this together!
